JULY'S SCREENINGS

This July, Cine Real returns to The Castle Cinema with two timeless classics that showcase the extraordinary range of cinema.

We begin with One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Miloš Forman’s unforgettable Academy Award winning masterpiece. Jack Nicholson delivers one of the greatest performances ever committed to film as Randle McMurphy, whose arrival at a psychiatric hospital sparks a battle between freedom and authority. Funny, moving, and deeply human, it remains one of the most powerful films ever made.

Later in the month we present The General, Buster Keaton’s silent era masterpiece. Nearly a century after its release, Keaton’s astonishing blend of comedy, romance, and breathtaking practical stunts continues to amaze audiences. Widely regarded as one of the greatest silent films ever made, it is a rare chance to experience this cinematic landmark on the big screen.
